I grew up on an acreage west of Greene, IA. I graduated in 1994 from Greene Community Schools. I attended NIACC where I earned my AA degree and transferred to UNI, where I graduated from in Decemeber of 1998 with a BA in early childhood and elementary education. I recently earned an endorsement in school library science from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
My husband, Scott and I currently live in Thompson. Scott farms and I enjoy helping him as often as possible. I am also on the Thompson City Council, I manage the Thompson Swimming Pool, and I organize the Winnebago county fair queen contest in the summer. I like to help with the dancing scenes for the spring musical. I enjoy reading, baking, and spending time with family and friends.
