I was born and spent my elementary years in up-state New York.  I graduated high school from Prairie Valley Community School in Gowrie, Iowa.  After school I went to Wartburg College in Waverly Iowa where I received a bachelor degree in physics and science education.

I taught High School science for 6 year prior to becoming certified with Cisco as a CCNA / CCNI (Certified Cisco Network Associate / Instructor).  I began teaching Networking class at North Iowa in 2000.  Currently I teach Networking I - IV.

My wife Christina Blodgett teaches middle school science at North Iowa.  We have 3 children.  We currently live in Buffalo Center.

Hobbies:  - Family  - Network games  - Technology  - Boating  - Snow Skiing
