Welcome to
Literacy 101/102 (1 semester each)
These classes are designed to teach basic reading skills to students (usually freshmen) who are not reading at the seventh grade, sixth month level. The course will involve reading student chosen selections and vocabulary building activities. Students will be expected to read at least 30 minutes each night and have a parent sign a reading log each day. Students who have not reached that level at the end of the first semester will continue in Reading 102 second semester.
