One hundred years from now it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like.  But the world may be a better place because I was important in the life of a child.

I am a paraeducator in the middle school media center at Thompson.  My daughter Maria and I live in Rake.  Maria is a student at North Iowa.  I have two older children, who are both graduates of North Iowa.  Holly graduated from Waldorf College and currently lives in Kanawha.  Jordan is a graduate of Central College in Pella and lives in Ames.  In my spare time I love to read and harmonize with my friends in the group, The Pink Ladies.  I also have two Yorkies, Sasha and Nattie.

I am a paraprofessional at the Buffalo Center building and work with the elementary.  My family moved to Buffalo Center when I was 4 years old.  I spent my K-12 school years in the uffalo Center and Rake school buildings.  (2nd grade year being bussed to Rake.) I was in Jr. High when Lakota came over to Buffalo Center and was a junior in high school when we officially became NIHS (1991).  So my letter jack is purple and white with BCRL letters, my class ring says Buffalo Center Rake, but my HS diploma says North Iowa High School.  I guess it would just be easier to say I have always been a Bison!
I am divorced and have three wonderful children - Kassidy, Gabriel, and Izacc.

I live in Lakota, Iowa with my husband, Gary.  Our three daughters, Amy, Holly, and Heather, are all graduates of North Iowa Community School.  Amy and Holly are both married, and Heather is in college.  I have one granddaughter.  In my spare time I like to read, crochet, walk, and spend time helping people.  I work as a paraeducator at the Thompson Middle School.

I am a paraeducator in the elementary building.  My husband, Mark, and I live on a farm near Buffalo Center.  We have two children, Lyndsay and Jeff.  I believe that there is no one way to teach a child.  You must try many different approaches to find the way that works best for each individual student.

I am a paraeducator assigned to the high school.  My husband, Mark, and I live in Buffalo Center.  We have three children:  Wendy, who is a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany; Dan, a junior at Central College in Pella; and Eric, a seventh grader at Thompson Middle School.  I enjoy being involved with the students and I am proud to be part of North Iowa Community School.
