| I
grew up on a family farm in South Dakota. Attended Dakota State University
and earned |
| a
B. S. Degree in Education with majors in Math and Industrial Technology. |
|
| I've
taught in Warracknabeal and Murtoa, Australia, Lakota, Burt, Bancroft,
Thompson, |
| Buffalo
Center, and Swea City. This is my 17 year in the North Iowa School
District |
| and
the fourth year shared between North Iowa and North Sentral Kossuth. |

Plans: |

| General
assignments are given but all students have an IEP and therefore work at |
|
| their
own pace. Because of the vast variety of drafting and woodworking
projects, |
|
| it
is impossible to give lesson plans for the class. Each student is working on |
|
| a
specific project they selected with my approval. Help and demonstrations are
given |
| as
needed individually or as a group for advancing knowledge of woodworking
skills. |
| As
with any class, ask your child what they are doing in class and outside so
you |
|
| stay
informed with their current activities. |
