Mrs. Andersen

   Welcome to Mrs. Andersen's homepage. 

   My name is Marlys Andersen.  I attended Leland Elementary School and then graduated from Forest City Community School.  I received my AA degree from Waldorf College and then transferred to the University of Northern Iowa where I received my BA in Elementary Education with an emphasis is math.  

   My husband, Dean, and I lived in Great Falls, Montana, while he was in the Air Force.  We then moved back to Iowa to farm the Andersen family home place.  I was hired as a teacher in the Rake Community School District.  It has been my privilege to teach in all of the four communtiy school buildings in the North Iowa Community School District.
