| | Bring to class an old shoe along with several ideas for a possible sculpture! | 9/8/2008 12:00 PM | | | Students will make their clay composition after having their plan approved. They will learn about Claes Oldenburg. When this is finished they will submit a plan for their shoe sculpture and begin to make the armature for it. | 9/19/2008 4:00 PM | | | Students will finish their clay. They will start their shoe sculptures by turning an old shoe into another creative composition using the additive method of sculpting. | 9/26/2008 7:00 PM | | | Students will finish clay projects or continue working on a sculpture beginning with an old shoe. | 10/10/2008 8:00 PM | | | Students will continue working on their shoe sculptures. Some will be finishing their tempera painting while others are finishing up carvings. All will be glazing their ceramic projects as they are fired. | 11/7/2008 11:00 AM | | | Students will do various activities dealing with respect. They will have a post test the last week of the semester. | 1/16/2009 7:00 PM | | | Students are working on various crafts after finishing their shoe sculpture and their paintings. | 1/16/2009 7:00 PM | | | Students will investigate the processes of the bronze statue and write their comments.
