Many years ago I became an official "Bison" at Buffalo Center Elementary School. Kindergarten (and the next 12 years) went well and I am a proud 1984 graduate of Buffalo Center - Rake High School, a.k.a. North Iowa High School. I earned my Associate of Arts degree in business from NIACC in Mason City, Iowa. I graduated from Mankato State University in Mankato, Minnesota with my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
This is my 15th year teaching. I have taught 2nd grade in Okoboji, 1st grade in Burt, and K-3 reading & K-Prep here at North Iowa.
My husband, Rande, serves the district on the North Iowa School Board. We have three children: Mitchel (NI Class of '07) , Lauren and Sydney.
