Welcome to Elementary Physical Education.
Hi - I am Amy Vander Wilt and teach K-prep through fifth grade physical education. I am a graduate of Sheldon High School and Central College.
I have lived in Buffalo Center since 1979 and have been employed by the district for 25 years. I am married to Brian and we have two daughters, Cara and Trisha. Brian is employed at Farmers Trust and Savings Bank. Cara is an optometrist and lives in Kansas City. Trisha works for Nationwide Insurance as a computer specialist and lives in West Des Moines.
In my free time I enjoy golfing, walking, traveling and being with family and friends. I love attending sporting events, watching sports on tv and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
Favorite saying for elementary students. "Don't be a couch potato!!!"
